How to optimise your event page
A well-optimised event page can significantly increase your ticket sales. Follow these steps to get the most out of your listing.
Upload a high-quality banner image
Use an image that is at least 1920×1080px (16:9 aspect ratio). Vibrant, professionally designed banners increase click-through rates. Avoid text-heavy images the event title is already shown below the banner.
Write a detailed event description
Include what the event is, who it's for, what attendees can expect, the full lineup or programme, schedule, dress code, and any restrictions. Use short paragraphs and bullet points for readability.
Set accurate venue information
Add the full venue name and street address. Many attendees plan their transport based on this. If parking is limited or the venue is hard to find, add a short note in the description.
Create clearly named ticket tiers
Use descriptive tier names like "Early Bird", "VIP Standing", "Table for 4", or "Backstage Pass". Include a brief description of what each tier includes access level, perks, reserved seating, etc.
Set up promo codes for early sales
Add early-bird or partner promo codes from your organiser dashboard to incentivise early purchases. Set an expiry date to create urgency.
Choose the right category and tags
Select the correct event category (Concert, Sports, Festival, Conference, etc.) and add relevant tags. This determines where your event appears in search and browse results.
Preview before publishing
Use the Preview option to see exactly how your page looks to buyers. Check all details, images, and ticket tiers before making it live.
Tip
Events with a clear, professional banner image get significantly more page views and clicks than events with no image or a low-quality one.
Tip
Update your description immediately if the lineup, schedule, or venue changes. Attendees appreciate current, accurate information.
