How do I use TicketsMinistry in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants?
TicketsMinistry runs a public, read-only MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the standard AI assistants use to connect to outside tools). Once you connect it, your assistant can look up live events in Sri Lanka straight from our catalogue instead of guessing from old web pages: what's on, where, when, how much tickets cost, and which tiers are sold out. The server address is https://www.ticketsministry.com/mcp and it needs no account or sign-in.
Connect it in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Settings and find the connectors (or apps) section. Custom MCP servers usually need developer mode switched on there; availability depends on your ChatGPT plan. Add a new connector, enter https://www.ticketsministry.com/mcp as the server URL, choose no authentication, and save. Then turn the connector on in a chat.
Connect it in Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. Enter https://www.ticketsministry.com/mcp as the URL with no authentication. Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan.
Other AI assistants and developer tools
Any assistant or tool that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect to https://www.ticketsministry.com/mcp. The server is also listed in the official MCP Registry, so tools that browse the registry can find it there.
Ask it about events
Try questions like "What concerts are on this weekend?", "Which events are happening in Colombo tonight?", "How much are tickets for this event and are any tiers sold out?", or "How do refunds work if an event is cancelled?". The assistant can search events, open an event's full details and ticket tiers, list the categories and cities that have events, and search our help articles.
Buy your tickets on the event page
The assistant gives you a link to the event page. Tickets are always bought there, by you, signed in to your own account, so your booking, payment and e-tickets work exactly as they do on the website. The MCP server cannot buy tickets, reserve seats or see your account and bookings.
Tip
If the assistant isn't using TicketsMinistry, ask it directly, for example "Use TicketsMinistry to find comedy shows this month". Some assistants only call a connector when the question clearly needs it.
Note
The connector only reads the same public event and help information shown on this website, and it does not need or receive any personal details. Event names and descriptions are written by organisers. TicketsMinistry is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic; ChatGPT and Claude are trademarks of their respective owners.
